I think one of my resolutions needs to be to blog more! I can’t believe its 2024! I’m ready for Spring and the new wedding season. It was a lot of fun to meet the couples at their engagement sessions last year and now the first wedding of the season is just 3 months away in Michigan! I can’t wait for longer days with sunshine, green trees and blooming flowers. Until then and with thoughts of warmer days….a photo from a session that this couple made easy breezy with their sweet love even though we were all melting on a lovely humid Chicago afternoon in August. Dan & Katie, you guys are the best!

A new year has begun which means meeting more amazing couples! 2019 was such a great year and I was so thankful for the opportunity to meet such awesome people. Engagement sessions are my favorite because I get to learn more about a couple and their love story and bring that together in the session. This past year had a little bit of everything from being surrounded in nature to city vibes, an impromptu basketball game, cute puppies and inbetween all that, there were stunning details, amazing settings, proud parents, grooms in awe, brides crying tears of joy, bridesmaids making sure all the details were perfect for their very best friend/sister, groomsmen filling a room with so much laughter and fun. All these beautiful, once-in-a-lifetime moments. And I felt so lucky to be the one to capture all of them. So thank you to all my super fun couples and here’s to all of you awesome couples in the new year! I can't wait to capture the most exciting day of your life! Let’s have fun!!

I can’t believe how fast summer seems to be flying by, it’s been a great wedding season so far and lots more to come in the Fall! I’ve been so happy to already have had so many great weddings and engagement sessions with some super awesome couples! Here’s to more adventuring & exploring for those magical moments!
